The Enkuba Program is designed to get these companies ready to raise money at a higher scale, as debt or equity, at the end of this process.
Step 1: Application
All entrepreneurs who fill out the application form are initially assessed by the Enkuba team. After this assessment, the selected teams are called for a detailed interview.
Step 2: Selection
We screen business ideas via individual interviews, then select those founders and projects that fulfill our criteria.
Our key selection criteria is the team quality. We mainly assess the founders’ ability to deliver. “The business idea” is of secondary importance since quality teams can usually create many good ideas. Our selection process has a bias towards capital efficient and quick-to-market ideas and teams.
Following selection, we start working with the founders on the partnership structure and start developing a feasible business plan.
Step 3: Co-working
After assessing the needs of the team and the particulars of the project, we create an intensive 3 month program. During this period teams concentrate on the products they build, whereas we provide our technical and product development expertise, the benefits of the program and the support of our mentor network.
Business plan is our guideline throughout this period and progress meetings help us manage the progress. We arrange weekly meetings and monthly dinners with the founders to follow their progress and talk the startups needs depending on where we are in the cycle. At the end of the program, the team is ready to run the business on their own.
